以前も書きましたが、英語検定（以下、英検）が2016年6月の試験からリニューアルされました。
英検２級では、今までになかった「英作文（ライティング）」が加わりました。
「英作文」の能力は、英語が使えるかどうかを知る意味では必要不可欠なものだと思います。
これまでの英検では、５級から２級までは「英作文」の試験はありませんでした。
今回、新たに「２級」において英作文の試験が導入されましたが、もしかしたら、そのうち「準２級」や「３級」においても英作文が導入されるかもしれません。
いずれにせよ、「英作文」という技能を身につけてこそ、「英語ができる」と胸を張って言えます。
というわけで、英検に英作文の技能試験が加わったのは良いことなのですが、実際に「試験対策」としてはどのような学習を心懸けるべきでしょうか？

英検の２級、準１級、１級の３つでは「英作文（ライティング）」の問題があります。
いずれも以下のような感じの問題となります。
「以下のTOPICについて，あなたの意見とその理由を２つ書きなさい。」
「TOPIC」としては、2016年6月の試験では以下のような内容のものが出題されました。
１級（200〜240 words）：
Agree or disagree: World peace is an achievable goal
準１級（120〜150 words）：
Agree or disagree: The number of young people who live with their parents after they finish their education will increase in the future
２級（80〜100 words）：
Today, some companies allow their employees to wear casual clothes like jeans or T-shirts. Do you think the number of such companies will increase in the future?
以上のように、与えられた「TOPIC」を読み、それに対して「賛成」あるいは「反対」の意見を書いていく、という問題です。
これに対する答えとしては、「introduction（導入部分）」「main body（主要部分）」「conclusion（結論）」の３つのパートに分けて書くと良いでしょう。
「introduction」では、まず、TOPICに対して「賛成」なのか「反対」なのか、自分の意見を明確にしましょう。
I agree （またはdisagree）with the idea that 〜.
このように書き出し、「〜」の部分には、TOPICの内容をほとんどそのまま書けば良いでしょう。
上記の１級ならば、「I agree with the idea that world peace is an achievable goal.」のようになります。
また、準１級ならば、「I agree with the idea that the number of young people who live with their parents after they finish their education will increase in the future.」とすれば良いでしょう。
ただ、２級の場合は、少しTOPICの英文を合体させる必要があります。例えば、「I think that the number of companies allowing their employees to wear casual clothes like jeans or T-shirts will increase in the future.」とか、「I think that more companies will allow their employees to wear casual clothes like jeans or T-shirts in the future.」のような具合です。
